Step into an engaging opportunity as a vital member of an elementary school community, supporting students from Kindergarten through 5th grade. This contract position offers the chance to make a lasting impact, working on-site for the full school year from July 30th through June 2nd.

You’ll collaborate closely with staff members as a dynamic contributor to the building team, participating in intra-school problem-solving processes and helping guide the Student Intervention and Building Crisis Teams. Beyond typical daily responsibilities, you’ll bring your expertise to IEP evaluations and related services, ensuring every student receives the support they need to succeed.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid certification and/or license as a School Psychologist
  • Familiarity with the elementary school environment and age group (Kindergarten through 5th grade)
  • Experience collaborating within multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong background in IEP evaluation, development, and student services
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psychological services including assessments, consultations, and recommendations to support student needs
  • Participate actively with school staff in intervention planning and problem-solving initiatives
  • Serve as a key member of the Student Intervention and Building Crisis Teams
  • Develop and implement IEPs, support data-informed student goals, and monitor progress
  • Cultivate positive relationships with staff, families, and community partners
