Seeking experienced and dedicated school psychologists for rewarding contract opportunities for the 2026–2027 school year. Openings are available in both South and Central Houston, with assignments running from July 30, 2026, through May 28, 2027. This is a full-time, on-site position that will allow you to make a meaningful impact supporting students' emotional and educational development within a highly collaborative and supportive school environment.
Qualifications:
- Active Texas School Psychologist credential or licensure (documentation required upon submission)
- Demonstrated school-based experience working directly with students and school staff
- Full-time availability (37.5 hours per week) for the duration of the contract
- Commitment to on-site work at the assigned Houston location
- Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality and consistent attendance
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and implement IEPs and intervention plans
- Support students’ social-emotional learning and promote mental health within the school setting
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and determine best practices
- Maintain accurate and compliant records, adhering to all state and district guidelines
