Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working as a School Psychologist in school settings preferred
  • Strong skills in conducting psychological and educational assessments

  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive psychological services, including evaluations and consultations, to students in an assigned school building (elementary or middle)
  • Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify students’ strengths, needs, and eligibility for special education services
  • Prepare clear, thorough assessment reports and share findings with educational teams and parents
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to develop interventions and strategies for student success
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing expertise on student needs and progress
  • Provide crisis intervention, consultation, and advocacy as needed within the school environment
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to ethical, legal, and district guidelines
