Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a closely related field
- Current and valid School Psychologist certification/licensure (or eligibility)
- Previous experience in a K-12 school environment preferred
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills
- Ability to effectively collaborate with educators, administrators, and families
- Familiarity with IEPs, RTI, and special education processes
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and educational assessments for students
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and other intervention strategies
- Provide direct services such as counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote student success
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere across each of the district’s four campuses
