Qualifications:

  • State of Tennessee School Psychologist licensure (required)
  • Experience working with K-12 student populations
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students across grade levels
  • Interpret assessment results and develop individualized recommendations
  • Provide counseling, crisis intervention, and support services as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support personnel to design appropriate interventions
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student plans
  • Promote positive behavioral supports and mental health awareness within the district
  • Maintain accurate, timely records in accordance with federal and state guidelines
