Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations for students across grade levels
• Perform assessments to determine special education eligibility and contribute expertise to eligibility teams
• Accurately interpret testing results, preparing detailed written reports to inform instructional planning
• Participate actively in eligibility, IEP, and parent meetings, contributing insights and recommendations
• Collaborate with teachers, special education professionals, and administrators to develop student-centered supports
• Assist in planning and supporting effective behavior intervention strategies
• Maintain accurate, compliant documentation and adhere to all required timelines and procedures

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology
• Valid, active Virginia School Psychologist license or credential
• Experience in a school-based setting highly preferred
• Familiarity with conducting evaluations, leading IEP and eligibility meetings
• Strong writing abilities for comprehensive reporting
• Excellent teamwork, listening, and communication skills
