Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations
• Complete formal assessments to determine special education eligibility
• Analyze and interpret assessment data, preparing thorough written reports

• Consult closely with teachers, special education personnel, and administrators regarding student needs and services
• Contribute expertise to behavioral intervention strategies and student support plans

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology required
• Valid Virginia School Psychologist license or credential must be held
• Prior experience in a school-based setting is preferred
• Familiarity with conducting evaluations, navigating IEP processes, and participating in eligibility meetings
• Strong written communication skills for report building, with an ability to work effectively within a collaborative team setting
