You will work collaboratively with educators, families, and school administrators to support positive outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Active School Psychologist certification/license as required by the state of Virginia
  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Experience conducting evaluations, Functional Behavior Assessments, and creating individualized interventions
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with IEP process, Response to Intervention (RTI), and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Prior experience in schools (preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students
  • Interpret test data and present findings to parents and school teams
  • Participate in eligibility meetings and IEP development
  • Deliver counseling and support services to students individually and in groups
  • Assist in the development and implementation of behavioral interventions
  • Serve as a resource for faculty on learning and behavioral challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to address student needs
