Make a lasting impact and help students reach their full potential in a contract School Psychologist position serving a district-wide school site near Stanton, NE for the 2026/2027 academic year. This full-time opportunity begins August 18, 2026, and ends June 4, 2027, following the district academic calendar.

As an integral part of the educational team, you will deliver vital psychoeducational services and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to promote academic, social, and emotional success for all students. Your expertise will be crucial in guiding special education eligibility, developing IEPs, and providing targeted support to those with a variety of educational and behavioral needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret findings to inform instruction and interventions
  • Determine and recommend special education eligibility
  • Serve as an active member of multidisciplinary teams (MDT) and participate in IEP meetings
  • Consult with staff, families, and administrators to address student needs and advise on effective supports
  • Assist in behavioral intervention planning and program development
  • Collaborate with external agencies and parent support groups as needed
  • Contribute to crisis intervention planning and staff/student support strategies
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal special education guidelines
  • Pursue ongoing professional development

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s, Ed.S., or Doctorate in School Psychology
  • Valid Nebraska Special Services Certificate (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Nebraska School Psychology Endorsement (or reciprocity)
  • Demonstrated experience in psychoeducational evaluation and special education processes
  • Strong communication abilities
  • Proven skill in collaborating across teams and with families
