The setting utilizes the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), and the primary responsibilities focus on conducting comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations.

Flexible scheduling is available—while a full-time commitment is preferred, part-time candidates and those interested in a hybrid on-site/remote model are also encouraged to apply. Desired skills and background:

  • Active certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience working in elementary-level school settings preferred
  • Strong grasp of MTSS frameworks and practices
  • Skilled in conducting psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Knowledge of special education processes, including emotional and autism support
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities

Primary responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial evaluations and re-evaluations for students, focusing on academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Participate in MTSS problem-solving meetings and contribute to intervention strategies
  • Prepare detailed assessment reports and communicate findings to educational teams and parents
  • Provide consultation and support for classroom staff and families
  • Support the development and implementation of IEPs, as appropriate
