Seeking a dedicated, bilingual Yiddish-English school psychologist to work with K-12 students in a dynamic school environment near Staten Island, NY. This is a direct hire, permanent opportunity with an immediate start date. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality psychological evaluations for CPSE-aged students and provide comprehensive evaluation reports, helping guide educational decisions and support students’ well-being.

Key Qualifications:

  • Must be fluent in both Yiddish and English
  • Certified or eligible as a School Psychologist
  • Experience with K-12 student populations
  • Familiarity with the CPSE process and conducting psychological evaluations for school-aged children
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in creating clear and concise evaluation reports
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families from diverse backgrounds
  • Commitment to inclusivity and supporting multicultural communities, particularly within Yiddish-speaking populations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychological evaluations for CPSE-aged students (Kindergarten through 12th grade)
  • Prepare detailed evaluation reports for educational planning
  • Consult with educational teams and families regarding assessment findings and recommended interventions
  • Participate in team meetings to help shape individualized educational programs (IEPs) and appropriate supports
  • Stay current on best practices in school psychological services and assessments
