As a valued school psychologist, you’ll play an integral part in student support teams, primarily focused on conducting re-evaluation reviews, eligibility meetings, and functional behavioral assessments. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create supportive solutions and foster student success. There will also be some involvement with initial evaluations, enriching your experience across all facets of student assessment.
Key Qualifications:
- Active or eligible School Psychologist certification
- Experience working in school settings across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Strong background with functional behavioral assessments, re-evaluations, and eligibility determination
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaborative skills
- Ability to manage confidential student information with professionalism and care
- Flexibility and adaptability in a school environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct re-evaluations, initial assessments, and eligibility meetings
- Complete functional behavioral assessments and provide recommendations
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and other professionals
- Develop and present reports in meetings
- Support the development of student intervention plans
Contract Details:
- Full-time Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week
- Work across elementary, middle, and high school caseloads
- Immediate start with a contract extending to late May 2027
