Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting psychological and educational assessments
- Strong familiarity with special education law, IEP processes, and eligibility criteria
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Problem-solving skills and a compassionate, student-centered approach
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, including cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators on intervention strategies and student support plans
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing guidance on eligibility and recommended services
- Deliver direct and indirect counseling services to students as needed
- Support development and implementation of individualized educational programs
- Communicate assessment findings and intervention recommendations with parents and staff
