Key Qualifications:

  • Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field.
  • Experience performing assessments, counseling, and intervention services in a school setting.
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Familiarity with IEPs, 504 plans, and federal/state education regulations.
  • Ability to handle caseloads efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic evaluations for students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing insights and recommendations.
  • Offer counseling and consultation services to support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Maintain detailed and confidential documentation as required by educational standards and policies.
  • Assist with crisis intervention and provide guidance on strategies for classroom management.
