Step into an impactful role providing essential services in educational settings as a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, on-site contract position offers you the opportunity to make a difference in students’ lives and collaborate with educators across two elementary schools, with a schedule running from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday. Your expertise will be pivotal in supporting classrooms focused on autism and emotional support, partnering closely with BCBA professionals and school teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure for the appropriate state
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology, Educational Psychology, or a related field
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and BCBA collaboration
- Experience with functional behavior assessments and behavioral interventions
- Understanding of Individual Education Plan (IEP) processes and compliance
- Prior work with diverse elementary-aged populations, especially in Autism Support or Emotional Support settings
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor behavioral intervention plans tailored to student needs
- Conduct and interpret functional assessments and behavioral evaluations
- Provide direct counseling and psychological support for students in Autistic Support and Emotional Support classrooms
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to foster positive student outcomes
- Coordinate with BCBAs on behavior plans and strategies across both buildings
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure IEP compliance for all caseload students
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary discussions
