Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Proven experience working in an elementary school setting
• Strong understanding of special education law and individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and consultative skills
• Ability to mentor and support interns in clinical or school-based practice

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver a range of psychological services, including individual and group counseling, assessments, and interventions
• Consult regularly with educators, families, and administrators to develop strategies that promote student success
• Support and supervise an intern, offering guidance, feedback, and professional development
• Participate in student evaluations, eligibility determinations, and IEP meetings
• Assist in crisis intervention and the development of behavioral intervention plans as needed
• Travel between four nearby elementary schools to meet the needs of diverse student populations
