Based onsite, you’ll be instrumental in helping students achieve personal and academic success and play a vital role in guiding and supporting an intern through the process. This full-time position runs from an immediate start through the ESY term.

Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Active School Psychologist credential or eligibility to obtain it
• Previous experience working in an elementary school setting preferred
• Strong understanding of assessment tools, data-driven intervention, and special education services
• Skilled communicator able to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and families
• Adept at time management and adapting strategies across different age groups
• Ability to mentor and support intern-level professionals

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students across four elementary schools
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create and implement effective student support plans
• Provide individual or group counseling to students as needed
• Work closely with an intern, offering guidance and professional development opportunities
• Deliver crisis intervention and consult with multi-disciplinary teams regarding student needs
• Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility determinations, and re-evaluations
• Help foster a positive school climate that supports learning and growth
