Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting high school students as a School Psychologist in a large, dynamic district. This full-time, on-site position will focus on a Special Education population of 110-120 students, ages 17-18, across four high school campuses—including an alternative campus. For exceptionally qualified applicants, a hybrid work arrangement may be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for high school students, including those in alternative education settings.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention to students, focusing on emotional, behavioral, and academic needs.
  • Offer consultation to teachers, staff, and families regarding strategies for student success and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records and prepare detailed reports in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Serve as a key support for the school’s Special Education population, advocating for appropriate accommodations and services.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist credential required.
  • Prior high school experience strongly preferred; comfortable working with older teens (17-18).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload and collaborate effectively with multiple campuses.
  • Strong knowledge of current SPED practices, laws, and assessment tools.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly with students and staff.
