A full-time School Psychologist position is available to provide essential support to students across four high school campuses, focusing on a special education population of 110-120 students. This on-site role requires a dedicated professional who can contribute to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment through psychological assessment, counseling, and collaboration with educators and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer psychological evaluations and interpret results to guide educational planning
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Provide counseling and intervention services tailored to students' needs
  • Assist in crisis prevention and intervention strategies
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute data-driven insights
  • Support the development of positive behavioral support plans

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid certification as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with special education populations preferred
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and educational regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
  • Commitment to student advocacy and promoting mental health

Location: On-site work is based in Sterling Heights, MI, serving four high school campuses.

Start Date & Schedule:

  • Position begins July 7th, in preparation for the upcoming school year
  • Full-time hours with consistent on-site presence
