Key Qualifications:
- Current Michigan School Psychologist certification required
- Experience or strong interest in observing classrooms and working within diverse school environments
- Background in conducting student evaluations and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs)
- Skilled in collaborating with teachers, administrators, and support staff
- Demonstrated understanding of IEP processes and participation in meetings
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and documentation skills
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to identify student strengths and areas of need
- Observe students in various learning settings and document observations
- Carry out Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) as necessary
- Actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, contributing to intervention plans and student support strategies
- Support the ongoing development of positive behavioral intervention supports and school-wide initiatives
- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to staff and families
Compensation for this position ranges from $45/hr to $55/hr, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
