Essential Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification
• Previous experience or training in school-based psychological services
• Strong expertise in conducting psychoeducational evaluations
• Proficiency in behavioral observation and intervention strategies
• Demonstrated skill in report writing and documentation
• Effective communication abilities, especially for meetings and collaborative settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students’ academic, social, and emotional needs
• Participate actively in team meetings and provide expert input on services, eligibility, and interventions
• Carry out student observations, documenting relevant findings to assist with planning and intervention
• Prepare clear and thorough reports to guide educational planning and support
• Develop, assist with, and help implement evidence-based Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
• Collaborate with educators, support staff, and families to foster positive learning environments for all students
