This full-time, in-person contract opportunity focuses on providing comprehensive psychological services to students in grades K-5, across three closely situated locations. With a student population of approximately 540 and two of the schools being non-public, your expertise will be essential in promoting student well-being and academic achievement. Flexible scheduling may be a possibility, as part-time (3 days a week) will also be considered. The anticipated start date is August 24th.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification (state credentials required)
- Prior experience with elementary-aged students is highly desirable
- Strong collaboration and consultation skills
- Ability to work across multiple sites conveniently located within a 2-mile radius
- Exceptional assessment, intervention, and communication abilities
- Responsiveness to student diversity and differing needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to identify student strengths and areas of need
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support positive outcomes
- Develop and assist with implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Consult on strategies for learning, behavior, and social-emotional growth
- Facilitate crisis intervention and deliver counseling services as necessary
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation and adhere to compliance guidelines
