Make a meaningful impact by supporting elementary-aged learners in a leading educational setting. This full-time, in-person contract opportunity focuses on providing comprehensive psychological services to students in grades K-5, across three closely situated locations. With a student population of approximately 540 and two of the schools being non-public, your expertise will be essential in promoting student well-being and academic achievement. Flexible scheduling may be a possibility, as part-time (3 days a week) will also be considered. The anticipated start date is August 24th.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification (state credentials required)
  • Prior experience with elementary-aged students is highly desirable
  • Strong collaboration and consultation skills
  • Ability to work across multiple sites conveniently located within a 2-mile radius
  • Exceptional assessment, intervention, and communication abilities
  • Responsiveness to student diversity and differing needs

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations to identify student strengths and areas of need
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support positive outcomes
  • Develop and assist with implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Consult on strategies for learning, behavior, and social-emotional growth
  • Facilitate crisis intervention and deliver counseling services as necessary
  • Maintain timely, accurate documentation and adhere to compliance guidelines
