Key Qualifications:

• Current Michigan School Psychologist Certificate required
• Masters or higher degree in School Psychology or related field
• Experience with PreK-8 student populations preferred
• Strong assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills
• Collaborative approach with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
• Adaptable to dynamic school environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and write detailed reports
• Develop and implement intervention and support strategies for individual students
• Participate in the identification, planning, and monitoring process for students with IEPs
• Provide consultation and professional support to teachers, administrators, and parents
• Deliver direct counseling and behavioral support sessions as needed
• Support school-wide initiatives such as MTSS and positive behavior programs
• Maintain accurate, confidential student records in line with compliance guidelines
