Take on a rewarding contract position as a school psychologist supporting students and staff during the 2026–2027 academic year. This opportunity offers the chance to provide meaningful psychological services, collaborate with educators and families, and play an active role in fostering a positive school environment.

You will be part of a dedicated team, assigned to work in one or two of five district buildings, collaborating with fellow psychologists, faculty, and administration. While assessment and testing are part of your responsibilities, emphasis is also placed on involvement in broader mental health initiatives and interventions beyond evaluations.

What You’ll Need:

  • Michigan School Psychologist Certification (or willingness to obtain MI licensure quickly after offer)
  • Experience working in a school setting is a plus
  • Strong assessment and intervention expertise
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
  • A team-oriented, flexible approach to supporting students

Role Overview:

  • Assess student needs and conduct psychological evaluations
  • Develop intervention strategies and support plans in partnership with teachers and families
  • Play an active role in promoting mental wellness and a supportive learning atmosphere
  • Participate in meetings, building-based teams, and school-wide mental health projects
  • Provide services in-person within the assigned school buildings

Details:

  • Contract position for the 2026–2027 school year (August 25th, 2026 – June 11th, 2027)
  • 37.5 hours per week, in-person only
