Applicants will support a caseload of approximately 50-60 elementary students, delivering vital psychological services in collaboration with educators and families.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist in Michigan
- Recent experience conducting assessments, developing IEPs, and working in a school-based setting
- Strong understanding of psychological testing, intervention strategies, and special education law
- Exceptional communication and organizational abilities
- Compassionate approach to supporting diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for IEP teams
- Develop and implement behavioral interventions and strategies to promote student well-being
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to provide consultation and recommendations
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student progress
- Facilitate crisis intervention and counseling as needed for students
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with district and state guidelines
