Desired Skills and Experience:
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certification is required
- Experience working in PreK-12th grade settings preferred
- Strong understanding of the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)
- Skilled in collaboration with educators and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Passion for supporting students’ emotional and behavioral well-being
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with teachers to identify student needs and develop strategies for academic success
- Play an active role in the MTSS process by supporting data-driven intervention planning
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations
- Provide behavioral consultation and intervention to promote positive outcomes
- Deliver mental health counseling services to students as needed
- Assist in the creation of safe, supportive learning environments
- Engage with families to offer insights, support, and resources
