A dynamic opportunity is available for a qualified School Psychologist based in Stewartville, MN. This position offers the unique chance to support diverse student populations in educational settings through comprehensive psychological services, assessments, and interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psycho-educational assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention for students as necessary
- Utilize data to inform interventions that improve student learning and well-being
- Participate in school-wide initiatives aimed at fostering positive behavioral supports and mental health awareness
- Travel between school locations within the district as required to provide services
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/licensure in Minnesota
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience conducting psychological assessments in K-12 settings
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
