Key Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification or license in California
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Knowledge of best practices in psycho-educational assessment, counseling, and intervention strategies
  • Experience developing and implementing IEPs and 504 Plans
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments to evaluate student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans
  • Deliver direct counseling services to students individually and in groups
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and provide recommendations for interventions
  • Support positive behavior strategies and crisis intervention steps as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Assist in developing preventative and restorative programs to enhance student well-being
