Key Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid certification as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience working with high school students preferred
  • Strong background in counseling, crisis intervention, and social-emotional learning
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with students
  • Ability to collaborate with faculty and school staff to ensure comprehensive student support

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and group counseling to high school students, addressing a range of social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Consult with teachers, families, and administrators to identify students requiring additional support
  • Create and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
  • Help students set personal goals and explore strategies for academic and personal success
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and professional standards
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as needed
