Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Previous experience in a K-12 academic setting preferred
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and educators
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized plans
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Compassion, cultural sensitivity, and commitment to ethical practice

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students’ needs and strengths
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement IEPs and intervention strategies
  • Provide individual and group counseling to support student well-being
  • Offer consultation and professional guidance to staff on matters related to learning, behavior, and mental health
  • Maintain detailed, confidential records and stay current on best practices
  • Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI), 504, and special education processes
  • Help facilitate a positive and inclusive school environment
