School Psychologist in Strasburg, VA

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Virginia Psychologist License required
• Experience as a School Psychologist within educational settings preferred
• Proficient in conducting evaluations, assessments, and providing counseling services
• Strong collaboration and communication skills for working with multidisciplinary teams
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional and ethical standards

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify students’ learning and behavioral needs
• Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students as needed
• Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement effective intervention strategies
• Participate in IEP meetings, 504 plan development, and crisis intervention efforts
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely reporting of evaluations and services provided
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive school environment

Assignment Details:

• Contract position from July 27, 2026, through May 28, 2027
• 37.5 hours per week onsite at designated school locations in Winchester, VA
