Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience providing psychological services in a K-12 school environment
- Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
- Strong understanding of Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks and Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment for diverse student populations
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive evaluations to determine students’ learning and behavioral needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families on intervention plans
- Participate in IEP and multidisciplinary team meetings, providing expert recommendations
- Deliver both individual and group counseling sessions as appropriate
- Assist with crisis intervention and provide ongoing support for students facing emotional or behavioral challenges
- Contribute recommendations for evidence-based interventions and monitor their effectiveness
- Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation in alignment with regulatory requirements
