A full-time opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist to support student assessment and intervention services in a school setting located in Suffolk, VA. This contract position runs from August 11, 2025, through June 5, 2026, with consistent Monday through Friday hours.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Virginia Teaching License with an endorsement in School Psychology
- Experience conducting psychological assessments and providing intervention strategies for school-aged children
- Strong skills in data analysis, report writing, and collaboration with educators and families
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Administer and interpret diagnostic tests to assess students’ cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to design supportive interventions
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and IEP development
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention when needed
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations
