Assigned schools and caseload specifics will be determined, encompassing various age groups. Please note, this assignment is entirely on-site; remote or hybrid arrangements are not available.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current, active licensure with the Virginia Department of Education (VA DOE)
  • Valid School Psychologist license in Virginia
  • Previous experience in school settings is highly preferred
  • Strong skills in assessment, intervention, consulting, and collaboration
  • Commitment to supporting the academic, social-emotional, and behavioral success of students
  • Exceptional communication and organizational abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students across K-12 age groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to implement interventions and support plans
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide expertise in the areas of learning, behavior, and mental health
  • Deliver crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
  • Maintain accurate case records and confidentiality according to school and legal requirements
  • Engage as an active member of the school community, supporting initiatives that promote student wellbeing
