Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist certification (state requirements must be met)
- Demonstrated experience in school-based settings
- Familiarity with cognitive testing, rating scales, and classroom observations
- Ability to interpret eligibility criteria and support teams through the eligibility process
- Comfortable traveling between 2-3 school sites as needed within assigned areas
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
- Willingness to collaborate with educational diagnosticians, social workers, and related service providers
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student evaluations, including cognitive assessments
- Lead and guide multidisciplinary teams through eligibility determinations and worksheet completion
- Participate actively in designated meetings: child study, re-evaluations, eligibility, manifestation, and termination reviews
- Work alongside educational diagnosticians who focus on achievement testing
- Collaborate as part of a fully staffed team of seven psychologists
- Maintain clear communication with staff across multiple sites as needed
- Ensure that services align with district policies and best practices
