Make an impact supporting students and teams in an on-site School Psychologist position for the upcoming academic year. This full-time contract opportunity offers a chance to provide vital services across multiple sites (2-3 locations, based on caseload) and collaborate closely with a dedicated multidisciplinary team. With caseload preferences taken into consideration and support throughout your assignment, your expertise will help shape positive educational outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
- Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license for the state
- Experience conducting cognitive assessments, interpreting results, and contributing to eligibility determinations
- Proficiency with evaluation tools, rating scales, and classroom observation methods
- Strong communication skills for guiding teams and working with diverse student populations
- Prior experience in a school environment is preferred
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct student evaluations, including cognitive testing and behavioral assessments
- Interpret eligibility criteria worksheets, guiding school teams through the eligibility process
- Lead and participate in focus meetings such as re-evaluations, eligibility determinations, child study, and more
- Partner with educational diagnosticians, social workers, and related service providers to ensure comprehensive student support
- Perform classroom observations, document findings, and communicate clearly with staff and families
- Support students across several sites as assigned, adjusting workload with staffing and caseload variations
