Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification (state requirements must be met)
  • Demonstrated experience in school-based settings
  • Familiarity with cognitive testing, rating scales, and classroom observations
  • Ability to interpret eligibility criteria and support teams through the eligibility process
  • Comfortable traveling between 2-3 school sites as needed within assigned areas
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Willingness to collaborate with educational diagnosticians, social workers, and related service providers

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive student evaluations, including cognitive assessments
  • Lead and guide multidisciplinary teams through eligibility determinations and worksheet completion
  • Participate actively in designated meetings: child study, re-evaluations, eligibility, manifestation, and termination reviews
  • Work alongside educational diagnosticians who focus on achievement testing
  • Collaborate as part of a fully staffed team of seven psychologists
  • Maintain clear communication with staff across multiple sites as needed
  • Ensure that services align with district policies and best practices
