An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled School Psychologist to support students for the entire 26/27 academic year, working on-site in the Suffolk, VA area. This full-time contract role offers the chance to make a daily impact across 2-3 sites, depending on caseload needs, while benefiting from the support of a collaborative multidisciplinary team. Psychologists are valued contributors, working alongside education diagnosticians, social workers, and other service providers to promote student well-being and success.

Key Qualifications:

• Active certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience working within school settings or with school-aged children
• Strong skills in conducting cognitive assessments, rating scales, and classroom observations
• Ability to interpret eligibility and guide school teams through special education processes
• Flexibility to manage varying caseloads and work across multiple locations as needed
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive student evaluations, including cognitive testing
• Collaborate with education diagnosticians, social workers, and related providers
• Participate in designated meetings for child study, reevaluations, eligibility, manifestation, and terminations
• Interpret eligibility worksheets and lead school teams through eligibility determinations
• Provide insights and recommendations to support individualized student needs
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to a positive, student-focused environment
