School Psychologist

School Psychologist – Suffolk, VA | 2026–2027 School Year | Full-Time | Onsite

Soliant is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join a supportive school district in Suffolk, Virginia for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity working alongside a collaborative special education team to support student success.

Position Details:

• Full-time (40 hours per week)

• 2026–2027 school year

• Onsite only

• Caseload will be matched as closely as possible to your preference

• Psychologists may serve 2–3 school sites within an assigned borough, depending on caseload needs

• Pay: Negotiable dependent on experience. Starting pay is at $50 an hour. 

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations

• Administer cognitive assessments, rating scales, and classroom observations

• Interpret eligibility criteria and guide school teams through the eligibility process

• Participate in child study, reevaluation, eligibility, manifestation, and termination meetings

• Collaborate closely with Educational Diagnosticians, Social Workers, and related service providers

• Educational Diagnosticians administer achievement testing, allowing psychologists to focus on cognitive assessments and eligibility interpretation

Qualifications:

• Active Virginia Teaching License with a School Psychology endorsement

• School-based experience preferred

• Strong collaboration and communication skills
