Make a positive impact supporting students during the 2026–2027 school year as a School Psychologist in the Houston area. This full-time contract opportunity offers the chance to work on-site, with options for hybrid report writing, and serve approximately five campuses in either South or West Houston. You'll play a key role in fostering student success and well-being in diverse educational settings.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Texas School Psychologist license/credential
- Recent, relevant school-based experience
- Ability to commit to a full-time schedule (37.5 hours weekly)
- Willingness to work primarily on-site (with some flexibility for remote report writing)
- Reliable transportation to travel between campuses
- Ability to complete necessary onboarding requirements, including fingerprinting, upon contract start
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive school psychological services to a designated group of campuses
- Conduct assessments, evaluations, and direct interventions to support student learning and mental health
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized plans
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation and reports
- Support compliance with state, district, and federal requirements
