Key Qualifications:
- Holds a current South Carolina School Psychologist license (required)
- Solid understanding of high school students’ developmental and academic needs
- Proficient in conducting evaluations, assessments, and writing reports
- Effective communicator with students, families, and educational teams
- Capable of managing a caseload independently and collaboratively
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to support student success
- Participate in multidisciplinary problem-solving and eligibility meetings
- Develop, implement, and monitor behavior and academic interventions
- Support the social-emotional and mental health needs of students
- Serve as a consultant and resource for teachers and families
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines
