Middle School Licensed School Psychologist in Sumter, SC

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and valid School Psychologist certification and license in South Carolina
• Experience working in school settings, preferably with K-12 students
• Skilled in conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments
• Ability to communicate findings and recommendations effectively to students, staff, and families
• Familiarity with special education processes and IEP meetings
• Organized, adaptable, and committed to student-centered practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform psychological evaluations and assessments for students in kindergarten through grade 12
• Interpret assessment results and participate in eligibility determinations
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement student support plans
• Provide counseling, intervention, and crisis response services as needed
• Contribute insights to IEP meetings and help craft positive educational environments
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and adhere to ethical guidelines
