Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active School Psychologist license in South Carolina is required
  • Certification to practice as a School Psychologist
  • Experience delivering psychological services to elementary, middle, and high school students is highly desirable
  • Strong background in conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments for K-12 populations
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Comfortable working across multiple school levels and managing a diverse caseload

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer and interpret academic, behavioral, cognitive, and social-emotional assessments across elementary, middle, and high school populations
  • Write clear, comprehensive reports and communicate results to parents, teachers, and other stakeholders
  • Provide expertise and participate in IEP meetings, contributing to education plans and student goal-setting
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement effective interventions and strategies
  • Offer consultation and guidance on best practices to support student well-being and academic performance
  • Support district initiatives regarding student mental health and safe, positive learning environments
