Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid and current South Carolina School Psychologist licensure is required
  • Experience working with K-12 students in elementary, middle, and high school settings is preferred
  • Comfortable performing psychological evaluations and assessments
  • Strong understanding of special education procedures, interventions, and reporting
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Positive, adaptable, and collaborative approach

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for students across all grade levels (K-12)
  • Provide recommendations and strategies based on assessment findings
  • Collaborate with educators, school staff, and families to develop effective educational or behavioral interventions
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of student plans
  • Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Support a safe, inclusive, and positive school climate
