A contract opportunity is available for an experienced School Psychologist to provide dedicated support on a part-time basis—20 hours weekly—with a school community near Sunnyvale, CA. Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid and current credential/licensure required for school psychologists.
  • Prior experience working with diverse student populations, preferably in school settings.
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing intervention strategies, and providing counseling services.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with educators, parents, and other professionals.
  • Ability to document findings and casework thoroughly for compliance and collaboration.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to support IEP (Individualized Education Program) teams.
  • Work directly with students to offer counseling, crisis intervention, and social-emotional support.
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student needs and intervention plans.
  • Lead or participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and special education processes.
  • Maintain confidential records and comply with all local, state, and federal guidelines.
