Key Qualifications:

• Valid California PPS Credential in School Psychology (or eligibility for certification)
• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Experience working in a school setting with students of diverse backgrounds
• Strong assessment, counseling, and report-writing skills
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Flexibility and adaptability to varying caseloads and school environments

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct counseling services to students, supporting social-emotional growth
• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
• Develop and interpret individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school teams
• Offer crisis intervention, behavioral consultation, and preventative strategies
• Participate in student support meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary problem-solving processes
• Maintain accurate and timely records consistent with federal and state guidelines
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to provide expert recommendations and supports
