Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in California
  • Graduate degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Experience with student assessments, IEP development, and behavioral intervention
  • Strong understanding of special education processes and regulations
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to connect with students, educators, and families
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary educational team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations of students
  • Interpret assessment results to inform interventions and IEP goals
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators regarding student learning and behavior
  • Develop and implement behavior management plans and supportive strategies
  • Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and social-emotional support as needed
  • Guide the implementation of evidence-based interventions for academic and behavioral concerns
  • Assist in creating inclusive, supportive school environments for all learners
