Position Details

  • Full-Time (40 hours per week)
  • Onsite
  • Assignment Dates: August 5, 2026 – May 26, 2027
  • Location: Gwinnett County School District, GA
  • School Year: 2026–2027

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations
  • Administer, score, and interpret standardized assessments
  • Complete initial evaluations and reevaluations
  • Prepare detailed psychological reports and eligibility recommendations
  • Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers
  • Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions
  • Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with Georgia Department of Education and federal special education regulations

Qualifications

  • Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
  • Active Georgia School Psychologist certification/licensure
  • Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) Teaching Certification required
  • Previous school-based experience preferred
  • Strong assessment, consultation, and report writing skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
