School Psychologist - Swarthmore, Pennsylvania

Make a meaningful impact working with students as a school psychologist in a supportive educational setting. This contract opportunity starts as soon as possible and continues through the first week of January 2027. You’ll work Monday through Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., helping shape positive student experiences and foster academic and emotional growth.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Experience conducting assessments, counseling, and interventions in school environments
• Strong knowledge of special education procedures, legal requirements, and IEP development
• Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
• Familiarity with culturally responsive practices in diverse school settings

Responsibilities:

• Administer psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment results
• Provide individual and group counseling to address students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and monitor individualized education plans
• Support positive behavioral interventions and enhance students’ coping skills
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to problem-solving processes
• Consult with staff and families regarding effective strategies and interventions
• Maintain thorough, timely documentation in accordance with policies and legal guidelines
