Key Qualifications:

  • Valid New York School Psychologist Certificate required
  • Demonstrated experience in administering assessments and evaluations within a school setting
  • Comfortable chairing CSE (Committee on Special Education) meetings and collaborating with faculty, families, and external professionals
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for students as needed
  • Analyze data and develop reports to inform intervention strategies and educational planning
  • Chair and facilitate CSE meetings, ensuring thorough collaboration with educators and parents
  • Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and families to support learning and behavioral objectives
  • Support crisis intervention and help address student needs through tailored strategies
