This onsite, full-time opportunity is based near Syracuse, NY and provides the chance to make a true difference in students’ lives. You’ll be contributing to a collaborative environment, delivering essential assessments and leading CSE meetings to champion student needs.

What we’re seeking:

  • Current and valid NY School Psychologist certification
  • Demonstrated experience or training as a CSE/CPSE Chairperson is strongly preferred
  • Proficient in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
  • Detail-oriented and adept at documenting findings and recommendations
  • Previous experience working in school settings is a plus

Key responsibilities:

  • Administer, score, and interpret a range of psychological assessments for students
  • Act as Chairperson for CSE meetings, facilitating collaboration among team members and stakeholders
  • Prepare clear, concise reports and present results to teams and families
  • Support individualized education program (IEP) development with data-driven insights
  • Consult with educators, administrators, and families to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Assist in crisis intervention and support within the school community
  • Maintain compliance with state and federal Special Education regulations
