Certified Grades 9 - 12 School Psychologist in Syracuse, NY

In this contract position, you will work closely with students, teachers, and families to foster a conducive learning environment and provide specialized psychological support. Key Qualifications:

• Current certification as a School Psychologist
• Experience providing services to K–12 students (elementary, middle, and high school)
• Strong knowledge of psychological testing, counseling, and interventions
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to adapt to the diverse needs of students and school staff

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ needs and create targeted intervention plans
• Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support individualized student plans and foster a positive learning environment
• Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention services when needed
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing psychological expertise to student support teams
• Monitor student progress, document services, and prepare clear reports
• Advocate for students’ mental health and academic success within the school community
