Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Current and valid licensure or certification to practice as a School Psychologist in Washington (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience in school settings preferred
• Solid understanding of child and adolescent development, behavioral interventions, and assessment techniques
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments of students referred for evaluation
• Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and intervention plans
• Provide direct and indirect counseling services to students, addressing emotional, social, and behavioral challenges
• Participate in response to intervention (RTI)/multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) processes
• Support crisis intervention and behavioral management as needed within the school community
• Deliver staff and parent trainings on relevant topics, fostering understanding and growth
