Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Current and valid licensure or certification to practice as a School Psychologist in Washington (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience in school settings preferred
- Solid understanding of child and adolescent development, behavioral interventions, and assessment techniques
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments of students referred for evaluation
- Work collaboratively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and intervention plans
- Provide direct and indirect counseling services to students, addressing emotional, social, and behavioral challenges
- Participate in response to intervention (RTI)/multi-tiered system of supports (MTSS) processes
- Support crisis intervention and behavioral management as needed within the school community
- Deliver staff and parent trainings on relevant topics, fostering understanding and growth
