School Psychologist - Tacoma, Washington

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Washington State
• Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
• Experience in K-12 educational settings preferred
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
• Ability to interpret test results and translate findings into actionable interventions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Capacity to manage time well and adapt to changing caseloads

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and re-evaluations for students
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education program (IEP) recommendations
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to identify student needs and support systems
• Provide direct counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
• Facilitate social-emotional learning programs and preventative mental health initiatives
• Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to support positive behavioral interventions
• Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with district and regulatory guidelines
