Desired Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in Washington State
- Master’s degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience in K-12 educational settings preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to interpret test results and translate findings into actionable interventions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Capacity to manage time well and adapt to changing caseloads
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and re-evaluations for students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education program (IEP) recommendations
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to identify student needs and support systems
- Provide direct counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
- Facilitate social-emotional learning programs and preventative mental health initiatives
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to support positive behavioral interventions
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in accordance with district and regulatory guidelines
