A School Psychologist position is available in Tacoma, WA, offering an opportunity to support student development and well-being within an educational setting. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students’ cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies
  • Provide counseling and support services to students to promote mental health and academic success
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and refine support plans
  • Monitor and document student outcomes, ensuring compliance with school policies and state regulations

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist, in accordance with state requirements
  • Experience working with school-age children in educational or clinical settings
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and counseling skills
  • Ability to travel between multiple school sites efficiently
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
