A school psychologist position is available for a travel assignment in the Tacoma, WA area. This role involves working within a school setting to support the academic, social, and emotional development of students through assessment, intervention, and consultation services.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify students’ learning and behavioral needs
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to students’ unique requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to promote positive student outcomes
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed to support student well-being

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Experience conducting assessments and providing interventions in an educational setting
  • Strong knowledge of student development, learning disabilities, and behavioral strategies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to travel and adapt to new school environments promptly
