School Psychologist | Tecumseh, Kansas

A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist interested in working within a supportive school district near Tecumseh, KS. This full-time contract role begins August 6, 2026, and continues through May 21, 2027. The district is open to flexibility regarding grade level and caseload, but has a particular need for expertise in conducting high school re-evaluations. The position offers either a fully in-person schedule or a hybrid option, allowing you to work three days onsite and two days virtually each week.

Qualifications:

• Active Kansas (KS) School Psychologist license required
• Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred
• Strong assessment, consultation, and report-writing skills
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple caseloads efficiently
• Background in re-evaluations, particularly at the high school level, considered an asset
• Comfort working independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, re-evaluations, and assessments for students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student needs
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and make data-driven recommendations
• Engage in crisis intervention, counseling, and progress monitoring as needed
• Document all services, assessments, and interactions in accordance with district protocols
• Participate in meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment
