Online School Psychologist in DE

A contract opportunity is available for a School Psychologist specializing in telehealth and teletherapy services within a large K-12 district featuring one preschool, eight elementary schools, three middle schools, a large high school, and a special education school offering programs for medical, intellectual disability, emotional disturbance, and alternate achievement diploma pathways.

Responsibilities include providing psychological services primarily at one school site, with potential to split time between elementary schools if needed. The role emphasizes comprehensive assessment, consultation, and support across a continuum of special education settings. There is an option for a testing-heavy assignment at the elementary level. Professional development days are paid and contractors are fully included in these opportunities. The position is full-time (37.5 hours/week) with a contract term through June 10th, including paid PD days.

Key qualifications and desired experience include:

• Valid school psychologist certification or licensure (license transfer support available; candidates with license pending may be considered)
• Experience delivering telehealth or teletherapy school psychology services
• Ability to conduct psychological assessments and provide interventions across a range of age groups and ability levels
• Comfort with working in a multidisciplinary special education environment
• Flexibility to adapt to varying site assignments within the district
