An established school district near Cleveland is searching for a compassionate and detail-oriented School Psychologist to join its student services team. This full-time opportunity allows professionals to make a meaningful impact by supporting students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional development across multiple grade levels. Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological and academic evaluations for students.
- Interpret testing data and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings with school staff and families.
- Provide consultation services regarding behavior management and learning strategies.
- Assist with crisis intervention and student support planning.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and assessment abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
- Knowledge of special education laws and compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid Ohio School Psychologist license or certification.
- Specialist-level or doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional standards.
Experience:
- School-based experience preferred but not required.
- Experience supporting students with behavioral or learning challenges is beneficial.
Education:
- Master’s, Specialist, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Completion of state-approved internship or practicum requirements.
