Virtual School Psychologist | Remote K12 Student Support

Job Description

Our education partner is currently hiring a Virtual School Psychologist to provide remote assessment and consultation services for a growing Ohio school district. This telehealth opportunity is designed for a licensed school psychologist who enjoys collaborating with educators and families while providing meaningful support to students from a flexible home-based environment.

The selected candidate will assist with evaluations, intervention planning, and student support services while working alongside district teams committed to improving educational outcomes. This role provides the opportunity to combine psychology expertise with modern virtual education solutions.

Responsibilities

• Complete virtual psychoeducational evaluations and student assessments.
• Interpret assessment results and provide written evaluation reports.
• Participate in online eligibility meetings and IEP discussions.
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student needs.
• Support behavioral intervention planning and academic success strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation according to district requirements.

Skills

• Strong assessment and analytical abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage a remote caseload effectively.
• Comfortable conducting meetings through virtual platforms.
• Strong understanding of special education processes.

Qualifications

• Ohio School Psychologist credential or eligibility.
• Experience with K–12 assessment procedures.
• Knowledge of IDEA regulations and special education best practices.
• Ability to provide services through a secure teletherapy platform.

Experience

• Prior school-based psychology experience preferred.
• Experience completing evaluations and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams strongly preferred.

Education

• Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology.
• Valid school psychology certification.

Work Hours

• ~ 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM Eastern Time
• ~ 40 hours per week
